1、Unit 5 My Favorite Activities 教学设计 Teaching Content Textbook “Friends with English”, Book 6, Grade 5 Topic Unit 5 My Favorite Activities(Reading and Writing) Analysis of Teaching Materials The teaching material is the Reading and Writing in Unit 5 of Book 6. This is the 6th module of this unit. This

2、 unit is talking about activities and frequency of doing activities. Students will learn some activity words and some expressions of frequency of doing activities. Besides, they will learn the patterns of asking and answering the frequency of doing activities. This lesson is going to learn the modul

3、e of reading and writing. They are curious about English and love to participate in the activities. The students have learnt the phrases in Vocabulary and the patterns in Target. So they kno

Free Talk T: Today we are going to learn Unit5 My Favorite Activity. Whats your favorite activity? Students think and answer the qu

11、estion. （通过 Free Talk 环节，引入话题，并转到下一环节的学习。） 3. Play a game. Students play a game named Sharp Eyes as a warm up activity. T: My favorite activity is playing games. Do you like playing games? Ss: Yes, we do. T: Lets play a game. The name of the game is Sharp Eyes. Read out the words and phrases. Are yo

12、u ready? （利用游戏活动，在活跃氛围的同时，对词汇和短语进行学习。） Teaching Purpose Warm up the class and lead in the new lesson, and create a comfortable and enjoyable environment for students to get familiar with the words and phrases. Step 2. Pre-reading(3 minutes) 1. Read the words and phrases. Students read the words and

13、phrases for the second times. （学生通过对教师手持卡片的第二次朗读，巩固单词与短语的读音。） 2. Classify. After reading the words and phrases, students classify them according to 6 categories, including name, age, country, likes, how often and with, and stick them on the blackboard. （学生通过贴卡片，对这些单词短语进行分类。在前面 Sharp Eyes 游戏环 节中，通过不同

14、颜色字体给学生一些小提示。） Teaching Purpose Help students get familiar with the words and phrases and find out the information. Step 3. While-reading(23 minutes) 1. Listen and match. Students listen to these two passages carefully with the books closed. After listening, they do the match exercise and discuss in

15、 groups. Teacher invites one of them to do the exercise on the blackboard and then checks answers together. （学生通过听第一遍录音材料， 初步感知阅读材料的主题 ， 完成相关连线题， 把答案填至表格中。） 2. Read and judge. Students read after the tape. After reading, they do the judge exercise by means of scanning the two passages. Let the stude

16、nts underline the key sentences. They discuss in groups and try to get the right answers. Then, teacher checks the answers. 3. Read the 2 passages. All students read the first passage.
