He stayed up late last night. 别叫醒他。他昨晚熬夜了。 III. 语法要点语法要点(学科网)(学科网) that 引导的宾语从句引导的宾语从句 从本模块起, 我们开始学习宾语从句。 那么什么是宾语从句呢?我们在第六模块复习 了简单句简单句的几种基本句型,其中有一种句型是“主语主语+谓语谓语+宾语宾语”的结构。 我们知道, 名词、 代词、 动词的名词、 代词、 动词的-ing 形式或形式或 to do 形式形式都可以作宾语,例如 buy a book 名词名词,beat him 代词代词,stop doing
8、 sth.动词的动词的-ing 形式形式, want to do sth.to do 形式形式等。这些例 子中的宾语是用一个单词或短用一个单词或短语语来表达的。 但是,当要用英语表达“我知道你昨天去看电影了”时,我们就无法在 know 后用一个 单词表达出“你昨天去看电影了”这个意思。“你昨天去看电影了”这个结构中包含行为本身、 行为的发出者和行为的承受者,是一个完整的句子,因此只能用句子表达。 这种放在动词后面作宾语的句子,我们称为这种放在动词后面作宾语的句子,我们称为“宾语从句宾语从句”。 宾语从句可以分为三类三类: 一类是 that 引导引导的宾语从句; 一类是 whether if 引
9、导引导的宾语从句; 还有一类是疑问词引导疑问词引导的宾语从句。 在本模块我们学习 that 引导的宾语从句。 that 是宾语从句的一个引引导词导词, 放在主句和从句之间主句和从句之间。 它引导的宾语从句由陈述句转化 而来,故从句的语序语序不变不变。 在 that 引导的宾语从句中,that 作连接代词作连接代词,无意义,在句中不作任何成分无意义,在句中不作任何成分,在口语 或非正式的文体中通常可以省略可以省略。 当谓语动词表示肯定谓语动词表示肯定的概念,如“希望”“相信”“知道”或“说”时,其后面的句子一般用 that 引导。 That 没有任何词汇意义,只有语法功能,目的是使读者清楚后面的
