1、教材分析 本单元是人教版新目标英语八年级下册第十单元, 也是最后一个单元。 要求学生能听懂谈论 人们拥有某物多长时间的话题,能熟练运用 since, for 谈论自己的个人物品。此前,学生已 学过了九个单元的新目标英语, 对整个课程的教学模式有了一定的了解, 具备一定的听、 说、 读、写的基础。对于现在完成时的用法前两个单元已经有所接触,为本单元学习和表达打下 了基础。通过本单元的进一步学习,使学生能够更加熟练地运用目标语言进行交际活动。 (一)语言知识目标 1、词汇:yard sale, toy, bear, bread maker, scarf, dress, sweater, sweet

2、, memory etc. 2、句型: How long have you had the?I have had for/since. How much is it?You can have it foryuan. (二)语言技能目标 1、掌握 for 和 since 的区别使用。 2、学会谈论拥有物品的信息。 (三)语言情感目标: 学生能够运用 for/since 自由造句, 结合现在完成时谈论更多关于自己或他人的信息。同时 由此句型引入父母的养育之恩, 使其学会感恩父母。 (四)教学策略目标 1、管理策略: 本班学生英语水平参差不齐, 一些学生因为基础较差难以参与到课堂活动中来, 缺乏自信

3、不 敢开口回答。对于这些学生应尽量鼓励他们,设计比较简单的任务来让他们体验成功感,从 而提高他们对英语学习的兴趣与自信心; 对于接受能力比较强的学生, 设计一些难度比较高 的任务,如复述、做报告等,让他们也能“吃得饱” 。 2、自学策略:引导学生调动已有的知识,根据情境推测答案,能自己总结归纳做题的技巧。 (五)教学重难点 1、教学重点: 掌握 for 和 since 的区别使用。 运用目标语言,学会谈论拥有物品的信息。 2、教学难点: 运用 for 和 since 句型进行表达和交流. 把目标语言运用到日常生活交际中。 教学过程 Step 1: Lead-in & presentation
