3、s Step 1 Introduction T asks Ss to think what a profile is. If they are not sure, T leads Ss to look up the word in the dictionary. T: Do you know what a profile is? A profile refers to a description of somebody or something that gives useful information; the general impression that somebody or some

4、thing gives to the public and the amount of attention they receive; and the edge or outline of something that you see against a background. These are the definitions from Oxford dictionary. 【设计意图:学生通过查字典,学会主动学习,理解什么是 profile,对概念的准确把握才能 让其在制作 profile 的过程中能够更加了解。 】 Step 2 Free talk 1. T asks Ss to hav

5、e a mini discussion about the specific type of songs they like. T: Which English song do you like best? 2. T introduces the focus of this lesson to the whole class: choosing a song to research. T also invites Ss to answer the following questions: Which song would your group like to research? Why do

What to focus on T divides the students into groups of 4 and each group discusses the aspects they are going to focus on researchi

T: When searching for proper information, we should pay attention to checking the accuracy of the information you find, especially on the Internet. Also, we should check th

T: Now you are divided into groups and you have your own research target, different songs with different styles, backgrounds and meanings. Id like you to coope
