6、(1) What should you do before reciting a poem? We must understand a poem first and then we can recite it properly. Memorize the poem, as this is essential for reciting it naturally. (2) Is reciting a poem simply reading aloud the lines and stanzas? No, it isnt. We should read with a full, clear voic

7、e and speak slightly slower than normal so that the audience will hear clearly. (3) How can one be an impressive poetry reciter? An impressive poetry reciter will pay attention to the tone and the rhythm of the poem, stressing the most important words. The reciter will also pause briefly between sho

8、rt sentences and in the middle of long sentences, while making longer pauses between stanzas. Moreover, the reciter will use his/her body language to emphasize emotion when necessary. 2.
