6、 Methods In this lesson, I will mainly use, “Communicative language teaching method” and “Task-based teaching method” .I will arrange four kinds of activities:revision, acting out the story, finishing a survey and having a competition. As for the competition, I will divide the Ss into seven groups.

7、六、六、Teaching Procedures. I will finish the lesson in 5 steps. Step1. Beforereading. Free talk between teacher and Students. Review by asking questions about some school things. The purpose of this is to form a better English learning surrounding for the Students, and, at the same time, it provides s

8、ituations to review the learnt knowledge for the next step. Step 2While reading In new language learning . students will read the pictures, ask and answer questions, learn more about the text, learn some new words and develop the thinking step by step. 1. Picture reading : Show Ss a picture with inf

9、ormation gap, and I ask Ss two questions to help them find the detals. For example: Who are they? 2.Ask and answer questions. Ask Ss some detail questions about the text. These questions can help Ss find the information from the text. Where are they? If you are on the island, what can you do? 3、List

10、en and answer: What does Gogo want to do? When we draw, what do we need? 4、Watch the video and tick. (“”or”) What do Tony have? 5、Read and act. 6、Picture reading: ask and answer 7、Read and discuss What do you think of Gogo ? Step3 Post reading 1、Listen and repeat. Follow the speakers 2、Lets retell t

11、he story! 3、Lets role play .For practicing, we try a new way of reading the text : ReadersTheatre.Ss act the text emotionally with actions.
