2、过程： 一、Pre- 1. Greeting 2. Leading-in 学生活动： 1、学生观察并分析活动 1 中的句子，通过理解句子的结构和意义，画出主语，识 别主语从句，并观察 that 引导的主语从句在句中的位置以及形式主语 it 的用法。 What Yuan Longping really cared about was not money or celebrity. That Yuan Longping had realised his dream of seawater rice surprised the whole world. It surprised the whole

3、world that Yuan Longping had realised his dream of developing seawater rice. 第一句是 what 引导的主语从句，注意 what 在句中并非疑问词，而是连接代词。 在该句中使用名词性从句，起到一定的强调作用。 第二句是 that 引导的主语从句，注意 that 放在句首，所以不能省去，这使得句子 成分明确。 第三句是由 it 作形式主语，that 引导的主语从句放在句末，这是该类型的主语从 句更为常见的结构形式。 二、While- class 学生活动： 1、学生重读文本“A Pioneer for All Peopl

4、e” ，找出文中带有主语从句的复合句。例 如: . what concerned him most was that farmers often had poor harvests and sometimes even had a serious shortage of food to eat. How this could be done was a challenging question at the time. . whether it was possible to develop a hybrid of self-pollinating plants such as rice wa

5、s a matter of great debate. It is estimated that about 60 percent of domestic rice consumption in China is comprised of crops generated from Yuans hybrid strains. What impresses people most about Yuan Longping is his ongoing ability to fulfil his dreams. 2、学生尝试不用主语从句，而用其他表述方式复述这些句子，体会主语从句在表 达上的不 同作用

6、。 提示：主语从句的位置比较灵活，采用不同句式可以丰富自己的表达。需要注意 的是不同句式的运用要遵循英语表达的一些重要原则，如“末端重量”原则，即 重要的信息可放在句末。还需让自己的表达更容易理解，如当句末已有从句时， 不宜再将主语从句放在句末。另外，即使同一个意思可以用不同的句式来表达， 它们表达的意义也会有细微区别。 3、学生先完成活动 2 的匹配练习，观察主语从句中的语序，然后翻译这五个句子， 体会英汉 两种语言的特点，并结合前面找到的句子整理出主语从句的引导词，弄清句子的 主语是如何经由引导词引出的。 AWhat worries many people remains an unans

9、主题的关联性语篇反映了人们在生活中 对绿色农业的态度。 Grandma has been complaining about the vegetables sold in the supermarket, which have been grown using chemical fertilisers.
