5、tudents and talk about the the comparison between the old and today in Beijing. Step 2Pre-reading: 1. Let students look at the pictures in 1a. Discuss with students the differences in life between the old days and today, then lead to the passage and let students master the new words and phrases “com

6、munication”, “quick”, “keep in touch with”, “far away”, “sort”, “rapid”, “progress”, “make progress”, “already” and “succeed”.
