4、RRIDE switch OPEN and the ON/OFF switch to ON,the retractable aircraft landing light will operate in the automatic mode as follows:(a)Momentary contact switches S4 and S5 are controlled by the aircraft flaps by an adjustment arm.When the inner canopy is extended,both momentary contact switches S4 an
5、d S5 are held open.When the flaps are moved,momentary contact switch S4 or S5 will close,and the motor will extend or retract the inner canopy accordingly.(b)Switches S6 and S7 are both normally closed and will open and stop the motor when inner canopy is fully extended or fully retracted,respective
6、ly.(c)When the motor is not energized,the canopy is held in place by a spring-held,electromagnetically released brake,which is an integral part of the motor assembly.Silicone diodes CR1 and CR2 let current to release the motor brake when the motor is energized.(d)Thermostatic switch S9 is mounted on
