28、ere is no word to indicate the comparison;hence rose is a metaphor.nSimilarly,in sentences like“He is the soul of the team.”and“Irrigation is the lifeblood of agriculture”,“soul”and“lifeblood”are used metaphorically.nMetaphors are used not only after verb“to be”,and not only nouns can be used metaph
