Im going to introduce my teaching design from 6 aspects: Teaching contents, Teaching aims, Key points and difficulty points, Teaching methods, Assessment, and Teac
2、hing steps. The contents include two parts. The first part is mainly about nine new words about food:soup, milk, tea, coffee, juice, bread, rice, fish, water and sentence patterns: What do you want? /I want some/ a/an . Part 2 is a story. Students can practice what they learned through situation. Te
3、aching aims include three parts. Knowledge aims. Students should master the key words and sentence patterns. Ability aims. One, students will be able to accurately imitate the pronunciation and intonation of the words and sentences from page 42 to 43. Two, students will be able to skillfully use the
4、 newly learned words and sentence patterns with the help of pictures or situations. Three, Cultivate students ability of English application, autonomic learning and team work. Emotion aims. One, Cultivate students thinking of balanced diet. Two, know the difference of food culture between China and
5、western countries. Key points and difficult points. Key points are the key words and sentence patterns. Difficult points: Use the newly learned words and sentence patterns in situations properly. Teaching methods: Situational teaching method and task-based teaching method. Assessment: Diversified as
6、sessment, including students self assessment, group leaders assessment and teachers assessment. Now, lets go to the teaching steps. Part I: Warm up. In this part, I design two activities. One, Read quickly. Through this activity, students can review words about food they learned before. Two, display
7、 a flash-what do you want. Students can sense the sentence pattern previously. Part II: Presentation and practice. I design a situation that Lan Yangyang is the amazing cook. Lan Yangyang invites his friends to his home to have lunch. I first present 5 new words: soup, tea, milk, coffee, and juice i
8、n sentence patterns what do you want? I want some/a/an . In this step, the students can learn and practice words and sentences through situation. Game: Look and guess. Through the game, students can review and consolidate the 5 newly learned words. Through pair work, students can train their ability
9、 of replacing key words and cooperating with their partners. Then with the appearance of Fei Yangyang, help the students to learn the other four words in situations: bread, rice, fish, water. Lan Yangyang is busy cooking in the kitchen. After a while, meal is ready. Fei Yangyang says: I want a rest.
10、 Practice reading this sentence. Lets match. Match the words with pictures. The purpose of this step is to consolidate the nine words students just learned. Lets chant. What do you want? What do you want? I want an apple. I want some juice. What about you? What about you? I want some fish. I want so
11、me rice, too. Students can deeply remember the words and sentences through this. Part III: Consolidation and extension. I design three activities in this part. One, Listen and repeat. Here, we should remind the students to pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation. Two, lets act. Remind th
12、e students to pay attention to their expressions, actions and emotions. Three, is a group work. Dinner time is coming. Students will do a survey in their group to know what their classmates want for dinner. In this part, the purpose of the first two activities is to consolidate. The purpose of the t
13、hird activity is to put what they learned in to practice. Part IV: dumplings, steam bread, Zongzi, moon cakes are traditional Chinese food. Beef, pizza, salad and hamburger are traditional western food. Different countries have different food. The purpose is to let the students know the difference o
14、f food culture between China and western countries. Among various kinds of foods, we should have the most grains, have more fruits, have more vegetables, have moderate protein, and have the least fat and sugar. We should have a balanced diet. The purpose is to cultivate students thinking of balance diet. Part V: Homework. One, Listen to the record from 42-43 five times. Two, ask your parents in English: what do they want for supper?
