6、use或as引导 的原因状语从句。 (1)Being well taken care of, she recovered quickly. =Because she was well taken care of, she recovered quickly. 她受到很好的照顾, 身体恢复得很快。 (2)Not having received his fathers letter, he decided to telephone him. =Because he had not received his fathers letter, he decided to telephone him. 因

7、为还没有收到父亲的来信, 他决定给他打个电话。 3. 作条件状语 一般放在句首, 其前可以加if, unless等连词 (1)Turning left, you will find a path. =If you turn left, you will find a path. 左拐, 你会找到一条路的。 4. 作结果状语 现在分词作结果状语时, 通常放在句末, 中间用逗号隔 开, 表示一种顺其自然、意料之中的结果。 (1)(2019 全国卷) If you exercise out of doors, your body will learn to breathe more deeply,

9、词的发生而 产生的自然结果, 其逻辑主语往往是前面整个句子所 描述的情况。而不定式作结果状语时常表示出乎意料 的结果, 有时前面可以加only。 He did his homework carelessly, making a lot of mistakes. (自然或必然的结果) 他作业做得很粗心, 必然会出错。 He hurried to the railway station, only to be told that the train had left. (意想不到的结果) 他匆忙赶到火车站, 结果被告知火车已经开走了。 5. 作伴随状语 没有相应的状语从句可以转换, 但可以转换成并

10、列句。 They came into the classroom, singing and laughing. 他们走进教室, 边唱边笑。 6. 作让步状语 Working as hard as he could, he could not pass the exam. 尽管很努力, 他还是不能通过考试。 7. 方式状语 Using the book, I find it useful. 通过用这本书, 我发现它(很)有用。 【即学活用】 (1) _, she couldnt go to school. 因为生病, 她不能去上学了。 (2)They stood there for an hou

12、 mine. 我正在大街上行走时, 遇到了一位老朋友。(walking和 谓语动词met同时发生) (2)当现在分词的动作先发生, 而谓语动词的动作后发生 时, 用分词的完成式。 Having finished the letter, he went to post it. 他写完信后就把它寄了出去。(having finished是先发生 的, went是后发生的) 2. 现在分词的语态 使用现在分词的主动形式还是被动形式, 这主要取决于现在分词和 句子主语之间的关系。句子的主语就是分词的逻辑主语。 (1)Having been shown around the factory, they

13、were very happy. (现在 分词的被动形式) 被领着参观了工厂后, 他们很高兴。 (2)Having finished his homework, he went to bed. (现在分词的主动 形式) 完成了作业后, 他上床睡觉了。 【知识延伸】 动词-ing形式的否定形式: not+doing与not having+done *Not knowing this, he didnt come. 他不知道这件事, 所以没来。 *Not having made full preparations, we put off the sports meeting. 因为没有做好充分的准
