冀教版英语 五年级下册 Lesson 9 The Palace Museum 1、教材分析 1.单元及课文分析 本课是冀教版英语(三年级起点)五年级下册第 2 单元的 第 9 课 The Palace Museum。本单元的题目是“In Beijing”,讲授了 “在北京”的话题。单元围绕着 Jenny, Li Ming, Danny 这三个小主人 公在北京参观天安门、故宫、长城以及在北京购物等一系列有趣的 生活情景展开。本课“The Palace Museum”是本单元其中的一篇,讲 述了 Jenny, Li Ming, Danny 参观故宫发生的事情。学生在学习的过 程中,运用英语语言读懂文本、提高了阅读技能,更重要的是学生 在学习如何描述故宫的过程中,体会到语言学习的乐趣,增强自信 心和成就感。 2.学情分析 授课对象为五年级学生,学生心理比较成熟,语感基本形成,理解 能力表达能力较强。所以本节课应充分调动学生的积极性,发挥学 生的潜能,发散学生的思维。 3.教学重难点 (1)May I take your picture? Sure. No , thanks . (2)能够用所学知识简单地介绍故宫。 2、教学目标 1.知识与技能目标: (1)掌握词汇及短语:take,take a picture,be (2)学生能用所学语言介绍故宫。 2.学习策略目标: (1)积极与同学合作,共同完成任务; (2)通过评价反思,发展自我调控策略; 3.态度目标: (1)提高学习英语的兴趣,乐于阅读。 (2)增强孩子们文明旅游、安全旅游的意识。 三、教学步骤 Step1.Class opening 1.Greetings The teacher and the Ss say hello to each other. Step2. New Concepts Then the teacher asks the weather. T: Hows the weather today ? Ss: Its sunny. T: What do you do on a sunny day ? Ss: I T: A sunny day and I have time ,I often travel . Show a picture that the teacher travelled to Shandong .And say : I go to Shandong .I go there by bus .I take clothes and some food. I buy interesting things .Do you like to travel ? Ss: Yes . (设计意图:以旅游的话题导入课程并为学生的回答做铺垫。) Step2 New concepts Show four questions in the PPT and ask the Ss to answer the questions one by one .Teach take ,take a plane , take a picture and write “take” on the blackboard . When learning the word , the teacher asks which word they think out. (设计意图:用自然拼读法来学习单词并联系相似的单词来记忆,以 便学生能更容易记忆。) The teacher and the Ss take pictures each other. First, the teacher acts as saying cheese , make a funny face , pose The Ss follow the teacher .Show the sentence : May I take your picture ?Sure.No, thanks . Let one student take pictures for the other students. Maybe some Ss do some dangerous actions .The teacher stops them in time . (设计意图:师生照相互动,激发学生学习兴趣,在快乐中学习并使 用英语。老师及时引导学生注意安全,不要为了追求照片的效果而 去做些危险的动作。) T:We like to travel and take pictures . Danny, Jenny and Li Ming also like to do . Today they are visiting the Palace Museum .First,listen and answer the questions . 1. How old is the Palace Museum ? 2. What do they see ? 3. What happened to Danny ? Ss answer and the teacher write the important words on the blackboard . Second, listen and repeat . Third, the Ss read together . Fourth ,the Ss read silently and finish Part 2. The teacher makes an inspection tour and correct mistakes in time . At last, the Ss work in groups. Introduce the Palace Museum or act out Danny, Jenny and Li Ming . (设计意图:通过听回答问题让孩子们对课文有一个初步的感知,跟 读和齐读对课文有了更深的了解,默读并写出问题答案检验孩子们 是否能看懂故事并能正确写出答案,最后的小组练习是一个分层的 练习,学生可以游的身份介绍故宫 或表演自己喜欢的那一部分,给孩子们一个轻松愉悦的范围去感知 和运用英语。达到学以致用的效果。 ) Step 3 Summary and expension 1. Show a picture of the Palace Museum ,the teacher introduce it .This is the Palace Museum .Its very big . Its beautiful . Twenty-four emporors worked and lived here . If you have a chance ,you can go to see . 2. Of course , there are many interesting places in Beijing . Look at this video and know about the Summer Palace . 3.T: When we travel ,can we draw write climb ? Ss: No. (设计意图: 更多了解故宫及北京的名胜古迹,让孩子们保护文物,保 护文物。) Step 4 Consolidation T: You are good children .Im so happy and lucky to meet you .At the happy time, lets learn to sing a song . 1st, listen ( the teacher listen ,sing and act)and the Ss try to sing . 2nd, the Ss learn to sing the song and do some actions . The teacher led the Ss in their movements .Such as take a picture,say cheese,make a funny face 3rd, the Ss sing to their partners and do some actions with the muic . (设计意图: 英文歌曲中的一些内容包含了本节课的所学内容,巩固 了所学知识同时也促进学生学习的兴趣。) Step5 Class Closing 1.T: Would you like to go to beautiful places ? Ss: Yes . T: Our hometown is beautiful ,too .This is the iron lion of Cangzhou (Ppt shoe the picture of the iron lion )The teacher directs the Ss to introduce it . 2.If you are a guide ,please introduce the iron lion to others like this (设计意图: 语言的学习的最终目的是为了用, ) 板书设计 Lesson 9 The Palace Museum -May I take your picture ? red and yellow -Sure .No, thanks . the Palace Museum 600years old see old chairs and tables
