1、Lesson5 What Are They Doing? 一、教学目标 知识与能力目标: 1听说读写下列词汇:read the newspaper,play cards,play with . 2掌握动词的现在分词基本变化规则。 3灵活运用句型:What is he/she doing? He/She is _ing. What are you doing? I am _ing. What are they doing? They are _ing. 过程与方法目标: 能在交际中运用现在进行时。 情感态度与价值观: 提高学生的观察能力和语言表达能力,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。 二、教学重难点。
2、重点:要求掌握的四会单词和现在进行时的构成和用法。 难点:人称与 be 动词的正确搭配。 三、教具准备:动词的词卡、课件、现在进行时句型的转盘。 四、教学过程: (一)复习动词及其现在分词形式 1利用词卡复习表示动作的单词。 教师出示词卡的图片一面,请学生猜动词或动词短语,再展示词汇一面。复 习动词词汇:画画、读书、唱歌、跳舞、听音乐、跑步、坐在椅子上、打乒乓球、 放风筝、骑自行车、写故事、做作业。 实物演示,学习新的单词 newspaper、cards,学习短语:读报纸 read the newspaper、打扑克 play cards。 2利用动词的动态图片,复习动词的现在分词形式。 现在
3、分词的变化规则分三种情况: 1)一般情况下,直接在动词后加ing 。 如cry talk sleep 的现在分词分别是 crying talking sleeping。 2)动词以不发音的e 结尾,要去e 加ing 。如make have dance 的现在分词 分别是 making having dancing。 3)重读闭音节的动词,要双写词尾字母,再加ing 。如run swim sit 的现在分 词分别是 running swimming sitting。 (二)学习现在进行时的句型,让学生根据答句说出问句。 “What is he/she doing? He/She is _.” “
4、 What are they doing? They are _.” “ What are you doing? I am _. /We are _.”“ What am I doing? You are _.” (三)学习课文内容。 1听录音、做习题 Listen and match: The woman playing with the baby The man playing cards with friends Danny reading the newspaper 听第一部分的两遍录音后,请学生搭配成句子。 2学生自读,讨论。 给出问题:What is the baby in the
5、 picture doing?学生朗读对话。提示学生注 意语音语调,教师仔细听,发现错误及时纠正。 学生可以小组内讨论问题。请学生回答这个问题。 3教师领读。学生分角色朗读。 (三)转盘游戏练习现在进行时的句子。 Turntable game: Turn the circles. After the stop. The finger points to the sentence. This is the answer. A classmate says the question.You read the answer. 学生到台上做游戏,进行对话练习。 五、引导学生进行课堂小结 现在进行时句型的结构。 六、作业(Homework) Some time in the evening, what is your family doing?
