(2)Look and say The teacher shows the students the pictures of the main characters one by one. (3)The title is “A Gift for Little Zeke”, so “Who give
4、s a gift to little Zeke? ”and “What gift does little Zeke get?” Let the students listen to the radio to answer the questions.(purpose: get familiar to the text ) Step4: While-reading Scene1-2 (1) Read and answer Let the students read scene 1-2 and then answer the questions: Where does little Zeke li

And where does little Zeke sleep?( This part is easy, so the teacher can let the students just read the story, and then answer relative questions) (2) Show the students the mind map of this part on the blackboard.
