2、and new knowledge. Such a topic is closely to their daily life and can raise their learning interests. Part 2:Analysis of the students The students are in Grade 3. They are active, curious and interested in new things. They have some basic English background knowledge. But they are afraid to speak E
3、nglish in class loudly. So I will try my best to guide and encourage the students to speak out and cultivate their self-confidence. Part 6: teaching procedures There are five steps in this part. Step one:Warming up. Firstly the students wil
7、l sing a song “Hello. Monkey”. Step two:Lead in. I will use the cartoon characters of Peppa Pig and George to lead in and then I will play a video material. It is about hide and seek. George hides, Peppa Pig seeks. But Peppa Pig cant find him. So the students will help Peppa Pig. Step three:Presenta
8、tion. There are six rooms on the screen. The students will guess. Then I say “Where is George?Yes. Maybe hes in room 1. Lets see. This is a bedroom.” I use the high and low game to practice. After that, I will write the word and the students write it on the paper. Then Ill show the sentences “Where
9、is George? Hes in the bedroom”. They will play “ scissors, rock, paper game” to practice the sentences. The sentences have learned in unit two. So its easy for them. Next I will guide the students to look for George. (The second word) The students practice this word by reading and hit cards. Next Il
10、l show the sentences. They practice sentences. (The third word) I will use hide and seek game to teach this word. They practice sentences. (The fourth word) They practice this word by reading one by one. Then practice sentences. (The fifth word) I will use bomb game to teach this word. Then the stud
11、ents practice sentences. (The sixth word) They practice this word by moving their body with the card. And then the students practice sentences. Lets see a video material. We find George. Step four: Consolidation. 1: Listen and number. 2: Whats the missing word? 3: Listen first, then ask and answer. 4: Group work: Four students in a group, and draw a beautiful home.
