This lesson is aimed at helping students learn some useful expressions. 二、 教学目标 【知识与能力目标】 1. Master expressions of scenery of countries. Key vocabulary and phrases: see koalas 看考拉,visit Big Ben 看大本钟,visit the Great Wall 看 长城,see maple leaves 看枫叶,visit Disneyland 看迪士尼乐园 2. Be skilled in oral expressions of book. 【过程与方法目标】 To help the students improve their oral expressions. 【情感态度价值观目标】 Motivate students interest in learning English. 三、教学重难点 【教学重点】 1、Learning: Students can understand others dialogue by listening. 2、Speaking: Students can use the expression of scenery. 【教学难点】 How to help the students present the dialogue. 四、课前准备 多媒体课件、单词卡、人物头饰、世界地图、学习单。 5、教学过程 1、Warming-up and revision (1) Greeting to students. (2) Divide the Ss into four as a group and present the dialogue. (3) Sing a song-“Where are you from?” (4) Review some flags. (Do you know these flags?) 2、Presentation (1) Introduce a new friend- Binbin ,and ask and answer .Use the sentence “Where are you from?Im from.” (2) Talk something about hobbies. Sentence: What are your hobbies? /I like making models/ swimming/ singing/ drawing. . (3) Summer camp- Know some new friends. Teacher asks Ss to read passages about children who come different countries. 3、Practice: (1) Can you introduce yourselves? Teacher asks two students to introduce themselves. (2) Start worlds travel plan with new friends, and know something about countries.(China,The UK, the USA, Australia, Canada) (3) Travel around China. Task 1:Free talk: Show some pictures and answer a question: What can you do in China? Ss may say:I can visit the Great Wall/ climb mountains/ eat yummy fruits and hot pot/ see pandas/. in China. Key phrases: visit the Great Wall (4) See a video: Top ten places of interests of China. (5) Study other phrases in same ways:visit Big Ben, Visit Disneyland, see maple leaves, see koalas. (6) Lets role-play Task 3:pair work Two students as a group, ask and answer. (7) Task 2: Lets match! 4、Consolidation and extension. (1) Look, listen and answer. Listen a dialogue and answer three questions: What are they talking? /Where is Binbin /Tom from?/ What are Toms hobbies? (2)Look, listen and repeat. Listen again and repeat one sentence by one. (2) Task 4: Group work Four Ss as a group and try to make a new dialogue. (3) Retell it! Do exercises on the paper. (4) We only have one globe.We should love our country and protect the environment. 5、Homework (1)Listen and read the dialogue three times ,retell it to your parents. (2)Try to find more countries and make a new dialogue with your partner.
