Step2: Warming up. 1.The teacher plays the song and students listen to the song as a warming up activity. 2.Review the phrases and dialogue

Activity 1: Phrase relay-Show students pictures of different things they did during the summer vacation and make students guess the phrases as quickly as they can with candies as their rewards. Activity 2:Dialogue making (Pair work) 1) Show students the dialogue in Get
6、 ready part in the form of mp3. 2) Ask them to copy the dialogue by making their own dialogues with different phrases found in pictures on page 56. Step 3: Presentation. Listening. 1.“We have learned so many useful phrases and lets check them by listening”. Then ask them to listen to the mp3 for at
7、least two times (If needed, one more time listening will be done.), and let the students try to understand the piece. 2.Listen and tick activity. Check the answers together. Speaking(Group work). 1.Practice the key sentences of “I went to Beijing last summer vacation. I visited the Summer Palace/ I

I visited the Great Wall and took many photos” in turn in groups. 2.This activity should be repeated a lot. * Lets write. 1.Students fill the blanks and read the sentences by themselves. 2.Students check the answers in pairs. 3.The whole class check the answer all together. 4.Students read the dialogue aloud for two times and then two students read them and we check their pronunciations and accuracy. Step 4: Homework. 1.Practice singing the song. 2.Recite the new words and make dialogues with the partners.
