Key and difficult points Key points : Can listen , speak and read the new phrases and sentences. Difficult points: 1.Use the words and sentences in real life. III. Teaching methods and studying ways Situaional Language, Teaching,Cooperative Learning Method,Action Method 2. Be able to understand and use the sentences about the past tense. IV. Teaching design I. Warm-up 1.Read and ask and answer in pairs (T and S ) . 1) Read the text in lesson 3 together. (P5) 2) Ask and answer in pairs (T and S ). When did you begin to learn English? What topics are you interested in? What have you learned? 2. Free talk. Ask the students to talk about their English learning. (We began to learn English three years ago. T asks: How did you learn English? Show the pictures and talk about them. Learn the phrases: listen to English, speak English, read English, write English, talk in English, play in E Ask and answer like this: -Are you interested in English? -Yes, we are. -How did you learn English ? -I listened to English. 设计意图:教师出示英语课堂学习的图片,通过问答练习描述图片学习本课词 组。 2. Practise. Look at the pictures and say out the phrases, and ask the Ss to read them correctly. And then show the question “What did you do in English classes?” and ask the Ss to answer the question using the phrases past forms. Pay attention to these words: read- read, speak- spoke, write- wrote. 设计意图:通过循序渐进的操练方式自然而然的接触到本课时短语和句子,然 后通过不同方式操练能熟练的运用句式,为学生的学习做好铺垫。 3. Ask the Ss to open their books(P6) and write the past forms under the right verbs. And then ask and answer: What did you do in your English class? I listened to English/ spoke English/. 4. Learn the past forms of the verbs. Let the Ss say out the verbs past forms, listen- listened , speak- spoke and so on. Ask the Ss to read and remember them. 5. Lets chant. The pronunciation of -ed. 1) Tell the pronunciation of ed, and ask the Ss to find out the words with ed in this chant. 2) Ask the Ss try to read the words. Then listen to the chant and repeat. III Consolidation or summary 3) Lets talk in fours. 1. Talk it one by one in groups. 2. Ask several Ss from groups to give a talk. Hello, everyone!We began to learn English .
