The purpose is to warm up and arise learners interest. 3. Ask Can you sing it again? The purpose is to introduce Gao Wei and Li Yan to engage students in todays topic. 4. Task 2 Number the paragraphs Watch a video without sound and do the task. Check the answers. After the task, we have a passage. 3. Task 3 Read the passage and finish the exercises. Check the answers. 4. Students get the whole DVD since theyve finished all the three tasks. Play the DVD. It is the video of lesson 1. Watch it. 5. Read the passage of lesson 1. IV. Language use 1. Ask Gao Wei and Li Yan have showed visitors around their school. Can you show your friends around your school? Moreover, it was a class full of knowledge and fun, which was of vital importance. However, it was not perfect. Students didnt do a good job in Task 2. The problem might be the language I used was a little bit difficult so they didnt t get it. I should simplize my language and make the instructions clear enough.
