T: Do you have an idol? (to s1) S1: Yes, I do. T: Whos your idol? S1: My idol is . T: Why do you like her/him? S1: She/He . Step2、New lesson. 1、Leading in T:Do you know my idol? Ss: No. T: Look! He is my idol.(课件出示小刘伟的照片) Is he lovely? Ss: Yes. He is lovely. T: Guess! How old was he in this picture? (引导学生猜) Ss: He was at that time. T: Yes, he was 6 years old at that time. Was ha healthy? Ss: Yes. T: Liu Wei was a healthy boy when he was 6 years old. Right? Ss; Yes, he was a healthy boy. T: At that time, he wanted to be a football player. But he couldnt. Why? Look at this picture. What happened? Open your book, and then tell me what happened? Ss: He lost his arms. T: Yes, he lost his arms. I think he was very sad at that time. Right? Please think: Liu Wei has no arms. How could Liu Wei wear clothes? How could he brush his teeth? How could he have meals? (课件展示刘伟用双脚穿衣、刷牙、吃饭的图 片。引导学生说出:He had to wear clothes with his feet.以及 He had to do everything with his feet. 然后让学生将双臂放在身后,体验一下刘伟在没有 双臂的情况下怎样翻书、写作业。引出 How difficult it was! (以这样的方式, 按时间顺序引导学生学习剩余课文,并理解课文) 2、Key points:(重点讲解) 1、 At the age of 2.、lost his arms. 3、让学生亲自体验失去双臂后 做事情的难度。4、 How difficult it was! 5、 But he made it! 6、 Started to do something. 3、回答下列问题: Q1. What did little Liu Wei want to be? Q2. What did he do at the age of nine? Q3. What did he have to do when he was nineteen? Q4. What did he start to do In 2006? Q5. How long did he play the piano a day? 4. To be a reporter and retell the story together. Step3. Practice. 1. Retell the story in groups. 2. 小组排代表上台复述故事。 3.展示交流: 指名学生上台有感情地复述课文,全班交流。 Step4. 课堂拓展与延伸。 课件展示残疾人励志故事,对学生进行情感教育。 Homework: 小作文:My idol
