Dear Tom, Im happy to hear from you. _ _ _ _ Yours_ Word bank: should , shouldnt, junk food ,too much ,too many, exercise , sleep at least 8 hours each night, drink at least 8 glasses of water , important ,meal _ Pick the right pit stop to win the race. 教学设计 To Be Healthy 树勋小学 于方 教材分析教材分析 本课改编自沪教版三年级起点,五年级下册的第九单元,以“To Be Healthy”为题的短文。本书是按照国家义务教育英语课程标准 编写而成,旨在通过选取符合学生心理生理特点的教材,采用适当 的表现形式,为学生提供具有生活性、时代性和文化性的课程内容, 激发和培养他们的自信心和求知欲,使他们掌握一定的语音、词汇、 句型等语言基础知识,发展听、说、读、写技能。 学情分析学情分析 在本课之前学生已经掌握了一些短文中出现的名词如 vegetables, fruit, candy,Junk food 等,并且已接触过以下的短语 play sports, take a shower, brush teeth,wash hands , comb hair 等,在本课的短文学习中还 要进一步练习和强化这些单词和短语,由于学生已经具备了一定的 自主学习的能力和较强的口语表达能力, ,因此在教学设计上我力求 创造性地使用教材,加大课堂教学的信息含量,给学生更多的空间 和时间去交流去表达,张扬他们的个性,发展他们的语言技能,体 现学科生命教育理念。 教法与学法教法与学法 新课程标准倡导学生是学习和发展的主体,而小学高年级的英语有 一定的难度,比较的枯燥,因此在一堂课中吸引学生的注意力,激 发他们的好奇心求知欲及充分激发学生的主动意识和进取精神就成 了关键,根据我对教材的理解和分析,在教学中我主要运用了以下 的方法: 1. 情景交际法 语言只有在一定的情境中才能使其表达富有真实 意义, 因此我用多媒体课件为学生创设情景,让学生在真实的 语言情境中学习如何给别人 advice, 让学生在实践中获信息,习 得英语。 2. 视听法 通过美国的公益广告引入主题,用自制的课件展示播放 课文录音,为学生提供看听读的练习机会。 3. 任务型教学模式 在短文的学习过程中,教师为同学们布置一 个个的小任务,学生们在完成任务的同时体验成功的乐趣。 学法:学法: 在教学中我注重了学习方式的转变,我以课程目标为最根本出发点, 以改善学习者的学习方式、提高学习效率为目的,把信息技术的应 用融合在课程实施中,最终实现学习方式的根本变革,本课遵循 “以趣促学,以动激思,活化教材,整体发展”发散学生思维,把 教材内容 活化为实际生活,活化为交际!以提高学生的综合语言运用能力! 教学目标教学目标 根据新课程标准的要求,以及对教材及教学内容的分析,结合学生生 理和心理的特点,我为本课设计了以下的教学目标: 知识技能目标 (1)掌握用句式 should shouldnt 为别人提出建议。 (2)理解短文含义,提高学生综合语言运用能力。 (3)掌握短文中出现的单词。 过程方法目标 (1)在教学实践的过程中,培养学生学习兴趣,强化学生实际使用英 语 的意识和能力。 (2)在任务型的教学活动中,倡导学生参与、合作与交流,发展学生 综合语言运用的能力。 情感态度目标 (1)在为别人用 should/shouldnt 提意见时,让学生体验到助人的快 乐。 (2)培养学生积极进取、乐于参与、主动质疑的情感态度,并在活动 中走向成熟,学会交际。 (3)培养学生形成健康的生活习惯。 重点:在掌握句式 You shouldYou shouldnt基础之上,能够根 据实际情况发表自己的观点,并给别人提出恰当的意见。 难点:提高学生的阅读能力,了解健康方面的常识,提高综合语言 运用能力。 教学过程:教学过程: 一 Have a free talk to warm up. T:Whats your favourite food? Ss: My favourite food is T: Whats your hobby? Ss:My hobby is (谈论饮食和爱好,为引出卡通片做铺垫,同时还能涉及与后面内容 相关的关于饮食和运动方面的一些词汇和短语。) 二 Lead in the new lesson by watching the cartoon. I like watching cartoons.Lets watch cartoons together,try to understand,whats it about? S: Its about health, eating T:Health is very important for us , everybody wants to be healthy,but how to be healthy?What should or shouldnt we do to be healthy? S1: We should S2:We shouldnt T: you know a lot about health,lets see what the doctor says. Learn the doctors advice. Listen to the recorder and answer the teachers question. 1)T: How to be healthy? S:we should eat well ,sleep well ,exercise often and keep clean. 2 Learn the article about health. 1) Read the article and find the new words, learn the words in groups with the help of computer. 2) Choose one group to teach the new words. Learn the phonetic notions and Chinese meaning . 3 Eat well. 1)T: Do you eat well?Now read the article about eating well and try to remember it, then answer my questions. A: What should we eat/drink ? B: What shouldnt we eat or drink? The students read and answer the questions. 2)Play a game: Health Car Race. If you can answer the questions correctly ,the car ca n go forward, if not, it will crash and you have to answer the question again. ( 阅读前结合学生生活实际提出问题,引起学生阅读兴趣,阅读中 循序渐进提出问题,解决问题,阅读后结合学生生活实际,在提 高英语阅读能力的同时获取信息,并能把所获得的健康知识学以 致用。) 5 Learn the part of sleeping well. 1) T: Do you get enough sleep? Lets read the article about sleeping and try to understand. The Ss read . 2) Fill in the blanks and check the answer. (老师引导学生进入锻炼身体的学习,每一次的阅读都带着不同的任 务,由浅入深,循序渐进,变化不同的学习模式,通过填空检验学 生的掌握程度,在掌握阅读内容基础之上再结合生活实际,运用所 学知识解决生活中的实际问题。) 6 .Write a letter to Tom. 1) Read Toms letter. 2) T: Can you give him some advice? Ss: You shouldYou shouldnt 3) write a letter to Tom and try to give him some advice. 4) Read the letter. (前面已经充分的学习了关于健康的各方面知识,做了大量听说读 的练习,知识的输入量很大,最后要检验学生知识输出的能力,过 渡到写,充分运用本堂课所学的知识,完成实际的生活任务,任务 的设置贴近学生生活,符合学生的认知水平和语言能力。同时引导 学生去帮助别人,培养学生乐于助人的品质。 ) 7Culture. T:The first wealth is health. Wish you a happy healthy life. (最后教师为学生出示了谚语 The first wealth is health. 谚语是人类智 慧的结晶,它不但包含一定的哲理,同时也是很好的语言学习材料。 把谚语巧妙地运用在英语教学中,不但可以激活课堂教学,激发学 生的学习兴趣和求知欲,而且在词汇、句型、语法和写作教学中十 分有效。同时通过谚语也能渗透英语文化,让学生了解中外文化的 差异,对英语教学有不可忽视的作用。 ) 教学反思教学反思:本节课的教学设计自然流畅,较好地完成了教学任务, 解决了重点难点,在提高学生综合语言运用能力的同时,学习了健 康方面的知识,获取了大量与生活息息相关的信息。本节课也存在 一些问题。主要表现在学生的自主学习体现得不够,还是老师在牵 着学生往前走,应该在今后的教学中进一步探索怎样让学生真正能 真实有效的自主学习,培养学生的自主学习能力。还有就是在听的 部分略有欠缺,可以在呈现阅读内容之前让学生带着问题听,这样 更有利于提高学生的听力水平。以上是我对本节课的反思,还不是 很完善,希望能得到各位领导老师更多的建议和意见。
