Ability aims: Using sentences to talk and write about the school open day, and some daily expressions. 3. Emotion aims: 1) Let students like our school. 2) Improve their sense of English. Main points: 1) New words and new phrases. 2) New sentence pattern. Difficult points: Using sentence pattern to talk about the school open day. Teaching methods:Task-based teaching method and communicative approach. Teaching aids: multi-media, blackboard and chalk. Teaching procedures: Step1 leading in and greeting: 1. Singing an English song”weathers” 2. “Good morning boys and girls.”, “Whats the weather like today?”,”How are you today?” Step2 review Show the pictures about the “art room, classroom, teachers office, playground, hall” Step3 new lessons: 1) Ask the students who will come to school in our school open day, and what do they do in the school open day. 2)Next let students design a plan when the parents come to school join the open day and let them write down on the paper, then show their papers and the pictures about our school open day. Sept4 practice: 1)By the school open day, students know how to use the ”First., Next., Then., After that., Finally.” to express their idea, by using these we are talking about some topics “go shopping, eat fruits, at the party” 2)After that, last class students draw some posters about their plan, I will take photos for their works and let them to introduce their plan.
