They were young.教学设计 一、教材分析 本课的教学内容是外研版新标准英语（三年级起始用）第四册 第五模块第二单元 They were young. 本单元的重点内容是“be“动 词的过去式”was”和”were” 的练习，以及它们的否定形式 “wasnt”和”werent”的学习。由于在第一单元“Unit 1”中， 学生已经初步学习了“ was”和”were”的用法，所以本单元的主 要任务就是练习使用 was”和”were”,并学习使用“wasnt”和” werent”表达过去的一些事情。 二、学情分析： 四年级的学生从三年级开始学习英语，有了一定的英语基础知 识，对英语也有一定的兴趣。但本节课所要学习的语言知识，是以 前从未接触过的。所以在教学过程中可能会出一些学生领悟不到， 猜测不到部分单词的意思。针对学生的不同情况，我在设计教学过 程时，以新课标为依据，以培养学生的学习兴趣为主要任务，采用 多种教学方法，使学生学习，练习，应用“was, wasnt, were, weren t ”表示过去的一些事情。 三、教学目标 1. 知识目标 a.能听懂、会说、会认读单词：wasnt /werent / clean / dirty grandparents, old, young, then, beautiful b.能听懂、会读、会说句型“It wasnt then / They weren t.then.” 2. 能力目标 通过学习，学生能够区分并使用用 was/wasnt 、were / werent 来谈论过去和现在变化。 3、情感目标：通过对比培养学生善于发现的精神。 三、教学重、难点： 重点：能在实际中运用一般过去时描述人或事物的特征与状态， 比较现在和过去。 难点：能准确的读出“wasnt, werent”并能正确的运用。 四、教学过程 Step 1 Warming-up（热身活动） 1.
