They were young.教学设计 一、教材分析 本课的教学内容是外研版新标准英语(三年级起始用)第四册 第五模块第二单元 They were young. 本单元的重点内容是“be“动 词的过去式”was”和”were” 的练习,以及它们的否定形式 “wasnt”和”werent”的学习。由于在第一单元“Unit 1”中, 学生已经初步学习了“ was”和”were”的用法,所以本单元的主 要任务就是练习使用 was”和”were”,并学习使用“wasnt”和” werent”表达过去的一些事情。 二、学情分析: 四年级的学生从三年级开始学习英语,有了一定的英语基础知 识,对英语也有一定的兴趣。但本节课所要学习的语言知识,是以 前从未接触过的。所以在教学过程中可能会出一些学生领悟不到, 猜测不到部分单词的意思。针对学生的不同情况,我在设计教学过 程时,以新课标为依据,以培养学生的学习兴趣为主要任务,采用 多种教学方法,使学生学习,练习,应用“was, wasnt, were, weren t ”表示过去的一些事情。 三、教学目标 1. 知识目标 a.能听懂、会说、会认读单词:wasnt /werent / clean / dirty grandparents, old, young, then, beautiful b.能听懂、会读、会说句型“It wasnt then / They weren t.then.” 2. 能力目标 通过学习,学生能够区分并使用用 was/wasnt 、were / werent 来谈论过去和现在变化。 3、情感目标:通过对比培养学生善于发现的精神。 三、教学重、难点: 重点:能在实际中运用一般过去时描述人或事物的特征与状态, 比较现在和过去。 难点:能准确的读出“wasnt, werent”并能正确的运用。 四、教学过程 Step 1 Warming-up(热身活动) 1. Greetings 2. Sing a song I was fat. 3.Review: Lets practice the opposites words.( show the exercises.) (1)、Fill the blank. (2)、I say short, you say tall. (With the actions.) Step 2, presentation 1、Look and say.(用形容词描述图片) 例如:(1). The elephant is big. But how about it in the past? It was small then. 教读 was (2). Look,what are they? They are monkeys. They are very thin now. But look at the picture in the past. How about them ?They were fat then. 教读 were 2、Guessing: What are they talking about? (butterfly) Look, now it is beautiful. As a baby, was it beautiful then? Lets watch a video. (蝴 蝶变化)-Answer: No,it wasnt. (教读 wasnt) 3、Lets Learn Activity 1. (1)、Watch and listen. (2)、Listen and imitate. (3)、Read together. 3、Look and say(Today I bring some pictures. Lets find the changes together.) 1)出示图片(小朋友)tall、short T: Look at them,they are tall now. But (换图) they _ short then. And they werent tall then .(教读 werent were not=werent) 2)出示图片(鞋子)clean、dirty T: what are they?(shoes)Wow, they are dirty.教读 dirty But they werent dirty then.
