The four tasks are designed to cultivate the skills in predicting, skimming, scanning, and summarizing. Those students may have much difficulty in understanding the long passage due to their limited vocabulary and present English level. Teaching Method: Based on the understanding of reading as an interactive process, my teaching of this text is divided into three stages: pre-reading, while- reading and post-reading, in which the top-down and bottom-up techniques integrated to raise the students language fluency and learning efficiency in general Teaching Aids: Multimedia devices and PPT documents together with some written exercises.
