Analysis of the teaching content This lesson is about a schoolbag topic. By study of this unit, the Ss know how to talk about the school things with simple words and sentences in English. The 4 new words and the sentence patterns are the main and difficult points of this lesson. The study of this lesson will help the Ss with daily communication. II. Analysis of the students Our students are in grade 4. They are active and curious, interested in new things. After learning English for one and a half years, they have some basic English background knowledge, so the teacher should attach importance to the communication with them, providing them chances of using language. III. Teaching aims 1. Aims on the knowledge To enable the Ss to read, recognize, and use these words: excuse me, colour, blue and white, English book,notebook, key ,candy, toy.
