1、Unit1 Part C Story time 的教学设计 西安市曲江第一小学 人教版六年级上册Unit1 Part C Story time 的教学设计 【教材分析】 本课为六年级上册第 1 单元 Part C Story time,呈现的是 Zoom 和 Zip 在 伦敦问路去买食物的故事。通过故事学习复习巩固和拓展本单元的核心句型。 Where is ?Go straight, turn left, turn right. 【设计理念】 本节课为一节阅读课,文章体裁为故事。六年级的学生已经有较强的英语综 语言运用能力,批判性思维和创造性思维也不断地发展。因此,在导入部分我设 计真实情境

2、Zoom 和 Zip 去英国旅行, 通过创设真实的语境设计活动 Im the GPS 复习旧知,进而整合课本资源介绍英国的相关知识,培养学生的文化意识。第二 部分故事教学学习本课地点名词 Thames river,London bridge,London eye,Film museum.通过看猜,看视频排序,听音回答问题等活动帮助学生理解文本。此外, 激发学生的思维讨论为什么 Zoom 还要吃糖葫芦,如果你是 Zip 你会做什么。引 导学生批判性的去讨论 Zoom 的行为,指导学生有感情的朗读故事,注意文章中 的语音语调和连读。第三部分故事表演鼓励学生有层次的表演,有创造性的创编 故事,在培养

3、英语语言综合能力的基础上发展学生的学习能力,高阶思维能力, 培养学生的文化品格和思维品质。 【学习目标】 一、知识与能力目标 1.学生通过学习复习巩固本单元核心单词和句型。 2.学生能够理解故事内容,按照正确的语言语调朗读故事。 3.学生能表演故事,并能恰当运用故事中的语言去创编故事。 二、过程与方法目标 1.帮助学生学会阅读的方法。 2.引导学生运用高阶思维去理解文本。 三、情感态度与价值观 1.帮助学生认识到均衡饮食,不能暴饮暴食的重要性。 2.帮助学生学会如何有效的小组合作,讨论并表演。 【教学重难点】 1.帮助学生在真实语境中去理解,有感情地朗读,表演故事。 2.学生能用批判性思维去理

4、解文本,提出问题。 3.学生能恰当运用故事中的语言。 【教学准备】 PPT,cards 【教学过程】 I. Warming-up 1. Greetings and chant to review. (1)Teacher and students greeting with each other. (2)Students chant together to review the sentences: Where is the? Go straight. Turn left. Turn right. (3) Teacher explain the assessment method. 【Desig

5、n Purpose】 Encourage students to speak out in the class. Let students chant together to review they have learned before. II. Pre-reading 1. To be the GPS Teacher let students to be the GPS and help Zoom and Zip find the way to the airport. Review the sentences below: Turn right at the hospital. Then

6、 go straight. Turn left at the post office and go straight. The airport is next to the museum. 【Design Purpose】Teacher create a real situation that Zoom and Zip will visit London, let students to be the GPS and guide them to the airport to review the sentences in this unit. 2.Look and guess With the

7、 help of the students they find the airport. Then let students guess where they are going. Introduce the culture and some information of London. Such as where is London? How many parts of the UK? 【Design Purpose】Let students get some information about London from this part. 3. Learn the words of pla

8、ces T:The plane is going to land at the airport. The passengers open the window. Zoom and Zip can see many beautiful tourism spot in London. New lets have a look together. Thames river London bridge London eye Film museum Zoom and Zip cannot wait to have their trip in London. Do you want to have a l

9、ook together? 【Design Purpose】 Teacher creates a real situation that the plane is going to land at The airport, then Zoom and Zip can see many buildings from the plane. Through this part let students learn the word of places and grasp the pronunciation of the word “Thames 、London eye”. 4.Watch a vid

10、eo about London. Zoom and Zip have a wonderful day in London. 【Design Purpose】By watching this video students can get some information about London and cultivate their artistic apprection. III. While reading 1. Look and guess : Look at the pictures and let students guess whats wrong with Zoom? Zoom

11、is hungry and he wants to eat some fish and chips. This is a very famous snack in London. Its yummy and tasty. Let students to be Zoom and lead others to read. 【Design Purpose】 By observing the pictures let students think over the questions. Let students predict what will happen next. Cultivating st

12、udents ability of observation and reasoning. 2. Listen and choose Let students listen and complete the sentence. Now lets read together boys act Zoom, girls act the boy. 【Design Purpose】Through the design of listening and choose and complete the dialogue to increase students interests of learning .

13、And develop students listening and judgment ability. 3. Watch and order (1) Watch the video and let students try to order the pictures and then check the answer. (2)Talk about the question “Where is the London eye?” with students and then read the text together. (3)Let two groups to show. Please pay

14、 attention to the link ups “next to” .And try to read with you emotion. 【Design Purpose】Ask students to rearrange the pictures by reading carefully. Develop students ability of drawing reasoning and analysis. In addition, students can read the text by watching video to imitate the voice and intonati

15、on of the audio, which lays the foundation for the later group performance. 4. Look and answer Let students watch a video and talk about: how much food will Zoom eat? Explain the words “portion” to students. 5. Look and say Let students look and guess: Why does Zoom wants to eat tanghulu? Why does Z

16、ip says“You still want to eat?” Ask students and let them talk about :Zoom ate too much. But zoom still want to eat a tanghulu. Why? Let students talk about the question :What will they do when you eat too much? Help students remember do not overeating, and try to keep a balanced diet. 【 Design Purp

17、ose 】 Watch and let students guess why Zoom wanted to eat tanghulu. Because Hawthorn could help digest. Help students know the scientific knowledge: the efficacy of Hawthorn. Guide the students do not overeating. IV. After reading 1. Let students watch the story and teacher leads the students to rea

18、d the story emotionally. 2. Let students write a new ending a the story. 3.Let students act out the story. 【Design Purpose】let students read with their emothion. Encourage students to create a new ending. There are two levels of performance, the original performance received one card award, the crea

19、tion of two card awards. V. Homework 1. Watch the micro lesson and recite and act out the story. 2. Have a healthy and balanced eating habit. 【 Design Purpose 】 Let students learn a micro-lessons to review this lesson, improve students pronunciation and intonation. Help students develop good eating habits and avoid overeating. VI. Blackboard design 【Design Purpose】Through simple pictures help students understand the text and create situational performances.
