Step 2: Presentation by playing games Use body language to guess a words meaning. Students can remember the words easily in this way. Step 3: Lead-in 2 Show some flags. Ask students to guess which countries the flags are. Let students know about the countries so that students understand different countries have different culture. Step 4: Explaining Ask students to know what they are supposed to do when they meet someone for the first time. Step 5: Practice According to the presentation, let students match the countries with the customs. Step 6: Listening (1)Let student listen to the recording in 1a, then take notes. (2)Listen again and check answers in 1a. Step 6: Pairwork Let students make conversations about what people in different countries do when they meet for the first time. Talk about the countries in 1a or other countries and write them down. Then read loud to the class. Step 6: Extension Work in groups. In China What are you supposed to do in the following situations? Use etiquettes to describe them. 1) meeting teachers 2) phone someone 3) visiting friends Step 6: Summary In this class, we have learned different countries etiquettes.
