Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark.教学设计 Period 1 (1a-1c) 一、设计思路 1、指导思想: 以新课标要求为指导,根据教材内容和学生认知特 点,采用任务型教学法来设计本节课教学内容。 2.教学目标 (1)学生能够回顾描写人物外貌与个性的词汇 tall, short, heavy, thin, outgoing ,quiet 等,及对人物外貌与个性提问的句型: What be sb. Like? (2)学生初步掌握 used to do/be 句式的陈述句、一般疑问句的结 构: Paul used to be really quiet. -Did Mario used to be short ?- Yes, she did. (3)让学生明白事物是在不断发展、变化的道理,培养学生积极向 上的心态。 3.教学重难点 (1)重点:学会使用 used to do/be 描写人物的外貌与个性的基本 句型。 (2)难点:正确使用 used to do/be 句型。 二、教学准备:了解学生喜欢的明星形象、多媒体课件。 三、教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in 展示多媒体课件让学生谈论图片中人物的外貌与个性来温故知 新。What is Pan Changjiang like ? Step 2 Presentation 1投影 SectionA -1a 的表格,帮助学生回忆 appearance 和 personality 的含义。 2把学生分为若干小组,比一比,看哪个小组在规定的时间内 写出属于 appearance 和 personality 的单词多。 3. 展示明星过去与现在的图片让学生初步了解 used to do/be 句 型的正确应用。 4.Pairwork 让学生描述图片中人物的变化。 Step 3、Listening practice 1让学生先看图,比较图画中人物的不同。 2听第一遍录音材料,只听不填。 3再听一次录音材料,在多媒体课件的人机交互程序中填空,进 行检测。 Step 4、Groupwork (Do a survey and make a report) 指导学生四人一组进行口头交际训练。让学生组内调查他人的 外表、性格变化,并做汇报。 利用媒体资源中的课件展示汇报范文。 Step 5、Class summary 通过问答形式总结本节课主要内容。 Step 6、Homework 写一篇短文,介绍自己及家人的过去与现在变化。 Step 7、Blackboard design Step7、Teaching reflection 本节课设计体现了任务型教学的特点,由易至难,层层递进,由任 务推动教学,使每个学生尽可能地参与到课堂教学之中。但在具体 的操作过程中,操练的方法有待进一步改进。应加上自己和同伴的 前后变化或加上更多的活动和游戏调动学生参与的积极性,以达到 更好的教学效果。 Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark.
