1 教学设计参与人员 姓名单位联系方式 设计者 实施者 指导者 课件制作者 其他参与者 指导思想与理论依据 英语新课程标准 强调:语言即是文化的载体,更是文化的组成部分,语言与文化密切相 关。在学习英语的过程中,接触和了解外国文化有益于对英语的理解和使用,有益于加深对中华民 族优秀传统文化的认识与热爱,有益于培养国际意识。因此,在英语学习中,教师应帮助学生拓展 视野,使他们提高对中外文化异同的敏感性和鉴别能力,进而提高跨文化交际能力。 本单元的主题为节日,本节课为第四课时复习课。本课将以帮助 Lingling 和 Sarah 了解更多 中西节日为背景,通过小组合作 Jigsaw reading 的形式进行拼图阅读,复习已学的 Halloween、Double Ninth festival 及拓展学习 Thanks giving、Lantern festival、Christmas day 的相关节日文化,同时通过对比中西节日的异同,使学生了解中国传统节日都与生活相关,是 现实与人的文化传承,而西方节日都是纯粹的宗教信仰,是人与超自然的对话。进而再次通过讨论 为什么要过节,发散学生思维,感悟理解节日文化传承的意义,加强学生对于中国传统文化的认知 与热爱。 教学背景分析 教学基本信息 课题 Unit 3 Can you tell me more about the mid-autumn festival? 是否属于 地方课程或校本课程 否 学科英语 学段:高段年级五年级 相关 领域 教材北京版教材 2 教学内容教学内容:本课为本单元第四课时,是一节复习课。教学内容源于 Lesson12 但并不完全相同。由 于在前三课授课过程中已经将 L12 中的内容处理完,所以本课仅以 Now I can read 和 Now I can write 两个部分关于 Double Ninth Festival 和 Halloween 的小短文为基础,改编了六个与节日相 关的小短文作为学习内容。即学生已经掌握的 Double Ninth Festival、Halloween 以及了解但是 并未学习的 Lantern Festival、Spring Festival、Thanks Giving、Christmas。六篇阅读均以 nonfiction 的形式呈现。本节课将以 Jigsaw Reading 的形式,通过小组合作学习,发散思维,深 入了解中西文化,培养学生的跨文化意识。 学生情况:学生情况: (一)知识基础:学生对于话题“节日”并不陌生,也熟悉一些节日词汇,在前三课中已经了 解了很多关于 Mid-Autumn Day、Double Ninth Festival、Halloween 的节日信息,能够使用 when is? Can you tell me more about? 问答与节日相关的信息。 (二)能力基础:本班学生喜欢英语学习,已经养成了良好的英语学习习惯,部分学生经常进 行英文课外阅读,掌握了一些阅读策略。大部分学生能够在框架的帮助下进行语言输出。学生习惯 了小组合作学习的形式,具备一定的阅读策略,有一定的自主阅读能力,熟悉常用的 Graphic Organizers 的使用,并能够按照教师的指令进行 Jigsaw reading 。 教学方式教学方式: Jigsaw Reading 、Group work、communicative approach 技术准备:技术准备: PPT,Graphic organizer for students ,students reading handout 教学目标(内容框架) 一、复习和节日相关的词汇如 Double Ninth Festival、Halloween、Lantern festival 等及 句型 when is?
