Warm -up 1.Greetings. 2.Elicit the title:Unit 2 My week. 3.Say a chant and find which sound you hear the most? He and she . She and he . Lets play together. He ,she and me. He and she . She and he. We all play together, one ,two,three. They have the same letter ”e” and “e” pronounce /i:/ Step 2. Presentation. 1. Show the picture and find the words with “ee”. green bee tree feet 2. Read the words and find the rules of pronouncing. 3. Try to read them according to the syllables. bee /b/-/i:/-/bi:/ bee 4. Show the picture and find the words with “ea” in the same way. eat read tea 5. Read, listen and chant. Listen to the tape and repeat the new words , then say the chant. Step 3. Practice. 1. Lets try . Try to read more words with “ee”. 2. Play a game ”Sharp Eyes.” to read more words with “ea”. 3. Grouping work. The teacher says: The words we learned just now with “ea”all pronounce like /i:/,but some words with “ea” dont ,can you group them? Lets have a try. 4. Listen, repeat and circle. Listen to the tape and circle the words you hear. 5. Make more words with “ee” and “ea” as the teacher reads. 6. Listen , write and say. Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks, then let students write the sentences on the whiteboard. Step 3. Consolidation. Watch a video , then act it out. Step 4.wrap-up.
