(1) Answer the questions and prepare 4 new questions for the other groups. Six students from six different groups report their questions meanwhile studen ts in other groups find out the answers as quickly as possible. How often does she go cycling? Aim:Help students have a better understanding about the details of the passage. 3. The third reading: (1) Read the passage again and fill in the blanks on the screen. (2) Pay attention to be going to and read them together. (3) Read it aloud and try to remember the passage. (4) Retell the text according to the six pictures on the blackboard. Then encourage some students to retell it on their own. Aim:Let students use new words and phrases to retell the passage. Step3 Post-reading Group work: Talk about sports in groups, and then report it.Discuss the questions in 1d. Which sports do you like best?Why? When and where do you usually do it? How often do you do it? How long do you do it each time? Is it good for your health? At last, the group leader should summarize and make a report. Step 6 Teaching Reflection Students are able to learn the reading strategies of skimming and scanning easily, but its a little difficult for the students to understand the structure be going to.
