1、Grade8 Unit4 Topic2 SectionD 教学设计说明: 本堂课以衡阳新闻联播的方式,采用教师配音,播报衡阳市英语教师阅读微 型课比赛现场的内容来引入新闻教学。然后,利用教师自己配音播报汶川地震新 闻的教学环节来导入课文学习。同时,该课选取了几则当下最具时效性的新闻视 频,如:中韩足球大战, 美女与野兽 , 人民的名义等,学生播报船山之声 新闻,限时新闻阅读(6.24 茂县山体滑坡) ,我是新闻播报员,幸运大抽奖等教 学环节,寓教于乐。整节课都以新闻阅读的基本要素如 what, where, when, who, how 等为主线,旨在让学生掌握新闻阅读的技巧,并通过汶川地震新

2、闻以及震后 重建家园的展示来讨论如何在生活中帮助他人, 教育学生做一个懂得珍惜并有爱 心的人。 1. Watch a piece of news about Wenchuan earthquake and get the basic information about the news c. Listen to 1a and answer the questions d. Show some pictures about Wenchuan ea

5、rthquake and the new look of Wenchuan e. Consolidation exercise Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of a passage f. Summarize the basic elements of news reading and a tip for news reading g. Time-limited reading exercise Ask students to read the news in 10 seconds and find out the basic elemen

6、ts of what, when, where and how. h. Voice of Chuanshan Watch and listen to the news reported by students and finish different tasks such as filling in the blanks and answering the questions. i. For this reading course, I focus on improving students abilities of reading, listening, speaking and writing by adopting task-based teaching method as the main way. Meanwhile, I use the

10、audio-visual teaching method with many videos and pictures as well as cooperative competition teaching method, which arouse students interest and make the class atmosphere active. The purpose of my teaching design is to develop students autonomous learning ability and students can fully show themsel

11、ves in class. Most of the students did a good job. However, several students couldnt follow the teacher completely, because the reading course is a bit difficult for them. So the weak point of this class is that I cant pay attention to the students in different levels well. Teaching is an endless art. There is something imperfect for my class. As a teacher, we should obey the teaching rules and place the students to the first. In the future, Ill improve my teaching skills and methods, learn from other experienced teachers and try my best to be an excellent teacher.
