操练巩固。(Consolidation)(1)问答练习。出示活动 3 中的 3 幅图片,让学生进行问答练习,先示范,如我问:“Where is New York?”找学生回答:“Its in the east.”我再问:“Where is San Francisco?”再找学生答:“Its in the west.”(2)抢答练习。让学生四人一小组练习,一人问,其余人抢答,先给 2 分钟自由练习时间,然后找小组展示。学生在平等、尊重的氛围中,他们的思维是放松的,敢于说,敢于参与,所以我设计了小组抢答的方式练习,让学生全部都参与,反复练习,巩固所学语言结构,达到学以致用的目的。(四)、拓展延伸准备一张中国地图,并标出东西部比较有名的大城市,挂于黑板,告诉学生游戏方法:一人说地点,一人指出位置并说出方位词,然后先示范:T: Shanghai.S:(指向上海的位置并说) East!T: Xinjiang.S:(指向新疆的位置并说)West.然后让学生小组练习,让他们拿出事先准备好的地图,边指边说。最后,找几个小组比赛,在规定时间内,指对城市最多的小组获胜。在巩固运用阶段,通过游戏和比赛的方式练习句型和单词,这样既巩固了知识又培养了小组合作意识,增进交流,又增加了课堂的趣味性,让学生在欢乐的气氛中完成了学习任务。(五)、课后作业让学生调查自己的同学或好友喜欢的国家和城市以及所在的地理位置(表格形式):NAME FAVOURITE COUNTRYFAVOURITE CITYWHERE IS IT ?通过调查,一方面培养学生语言交际和运用能力,一方面培养学生创新思维,提高其综合素质。village headsouthwesteastnorthcompassAmericaAmerican flagnortheastsouthwestUp up north Down down south Left left west Right right east Please turn to the east.
