Discusion. 在黑板上用简笔画画出北极雪景图(包括雪山、冰湖、雪地和北极熊) 并提问:Where is it? Why do you think so?引出本单元课题“Life in the Arctic”,并教读单词“arctic”. 班内展开讨论:What do you know about arctic?让生尽可能多说一些关于北极的词汇,师将其翻译成英文如 polar bear , igloo , snow, hill , low temperature 等等。 将 polar bear,arctic hare, water, lake, snow, hill top 分别标在黑板上并教读。2. 感知 chant 节奏内容师站在黑板旁边,遥指 polar bear 问:“Whats over there?”生回答“polar bear” ,让生明白本句话表达“那是什么”的意思。师板书“Whats over there?”放 chant 第一段,让学生跟读练习。pair work:利用黑板上的词汇进行对话练习。 (如 Whats over there?Arctic hare.)3. 练习对话“Whats he doing over there? He wants to catch a hare.”和“whats not there?The arctic hare.”在 polar bear 边画上 来帮助解释“want”的意思。 4. 放 chant 前三段。生跟读,重点纠正读音错误。5.
