According to the New Curriculum Standard, the teaching objects are divided into 3 parts:Firstly, knowledge and skill aims: Ss can listen, read and spell the phonetic symbol e
4、i and the new words of cat, cake, dad, date, hat, hate, face, name and make.Secondly, process and methodaims: Guide the students to take part in the group activities and the drilling of the capacity of using brains, hands and mouth. Thirdly, emotional and attitudeaims: Encourage the students to take
5、 part in the classroom activities proactively, speak English loudly and confidently and imitate actively.According to the analysis of teaching material, the key points of this lesson are to help students to listen, read and spell the phonetic symbol ei and the new words of cat, cake, dad, date, hat,
6、hate, face, name and make. The difficult point is to help the students to summarize and master the pronunciation rules of the vowel “a”. Students in grade 4 have the basic knowledge of English and the ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing; and the ability of cooperation, independent an
7、d inquiry learning. Meanwhile, they like to express their opinion and they have strong interest in English study.Based on the knowledge the students have and the requirements of the new curriculum standard. Ill use task-based method, communicative method, group cooperate method, TPR method, performa

In order to realize the teaching process systematically, properly and efficiently, under the principle of “regard students as the corpus, the teacher inspires for predominance”, I divide the teaching process into six steps.Step 1.Lead-inFirstly, I will ask

Design purpose: Ask question is a direct way to lead to the new lesson, and students could review the related knowledge they have learned. Step2. PresentationI will pl
10、ay the tape to let the students listen to the pronunciation of some words, then I will use the PPT to show these words, and lead the students to find that that these words contain the vowel “a, such as cake, face, name. . Next, I will read these words and students can imitate the pronunciation, I wi
11、ll ask them a question that “What does “a” sounds like in these words?”and thus to guide the students to try to find the pronunciation rules of the vowel “a”. I will summarize the pronunciation rules of vowel “a” with students. Design purpose: Cultivate their abilities of self-study by leading stude
12、nts to perceive experience and summarize the pronunciation of vowel “a” by themselves. Step 3. PracticeActivity 1: Read one by one. Students read these phonetic symbols one by one, and I will help them to read these phonetic symbols correctly and exactly by demonstrating reading when they need. Acti

Summary Ss make a summary on what they have learned this class, and I will make supplement that we have learned the pronunciation of the vowel “a”, and we can spell the phonetic symbol ei and the new wor

In order to help the students grasp the main knowledges of this lesson, I will write the phonetic symbols of vowel “a” on the blackboard, and give some example words of each phonetic symbol. i
