2、sh it.As we all know, the senior students can use freely of most vocabulary and grammar, but they lack the ability of skimming the article quickly and concluding the main ideas. As they have some logic and cognition ability, teacher should give them as many practice as possible, so that they can gra
3、sp it by themselves or with the help of teachers.In this class, students can learn some new words and expressions, such as outdoor, on purpose, face to face and so on and students can understand the whole passage as well. Through the practice of extensive reading, detail reading, students can improv
4、e their reading ability, say scanning, skimming. Meantime, students will pay more attention to friendship, cooperative spirit and awareness of competition.As for the key points of this class, those new words and expressions, such as outdoor, on purpose , face to face are really worth remembering. An
5、d I guess students may have difficulty in understanding the article and answering the questions afterwards, that is, the difficult point.During the teaching process, I will evaluate students study effect by asking some questions. For example, students would be given a question, like” can you say som
6、ething about Annes friend”. It is a little difficult question and excellent students are encouraged to answer. If they have great performance, I will appreciate it and speak highly of them. And the lower level students maybe are asked to make sentences about words, such as face to face, in order to,
7、 even if they cannot give the answer, their courage should also be praised. If everyone can get it, my class functions, if not, I should rethink it.In this class, I will use audio-visual method to lead in, playing movie Robinson Crusoe, so that I can arise their interesting. Meantime, according to t
8、he demand of senior students, I combine the task method to help finishing the later class.As for the leading in, I want to use the movie Robinson Crusoe. From the movie, we can see Robinson has a little special friend - a football. At that time I will tell students there is almost same story in our
9、book and they can refer to page2. Then students would be encouraged to guess, “Who is Annes best friend?” and “what is this article talking about?” from the pictures on the book. I will invite some students to share their ideas. Next, I will play a video of this reading article for them. They listen
10、 to the passage and write some words and they can check it by themselves to see whether their predication is right or not. After that, we move to detail reading, I will use some questions on PPT, like “how long did Anne and her family hide away” and “why the need to hide away?” students will be enco
11、uraged to read article again with my questions. And 5 minutes later, I will help them to analyze the structure and main ideas of each sections of reading articles. Students will be invited to answer the questions above after my analysis. Then, I will teach some black-body words in the article by usi
12、ng the exercise in page 4, say, using English explain words and filling in the blank. At the end of reading, students are encouraged to have an activity to spirit up. Imagine you have to go into hiding like Anne and her family. What would they miss most? Give the reasons. They will be given 3 minute
13、s to discuss and share their views after. Lastly, students need to sum up the reading article, so that I can see the feedback. As for the homework, students are encouraged to finish the questions about the reading passage. And if they have enough time, they can write a diary about their friend.As for the highlight of my class, although it is a reading class, it can improve students ability in comprehensive way. And I also take the advantage of multimedia technology and make my class more vivid and propounding.
