He is direct.【拓展】What does sb. look like? 意为“某人长得怎么样?”用于提问人的外貌。e.g. What dose Mike look like? He has long hair.3. Paula used to be really quiet. Thi

11、s party is such a great idea!such 为形容词,意为“这(那)样的”;主要修饰名词。so 是副词,意为“这(那)么;如此地”,主要修饰形容词、副词和分词。e.g. Do you like such weather?Im so glad to see you.【注意】当名词前有many,much,few或little等词修饰时,要用so而不用such。e.g. I have so much / little homework today.4. Its been three years since we last saw our primary school clas

12、smates.(1) Its been+一段时间+since+从句 意为“从以来已经有多长时间了”,还可表示为“It is+一段时间+since+从句”。 e.g. Its been 3 years since I began to learn English. (2) since 意为“从以后”,since后面接从句,该从句用一般过去时态,主句用完成时。e.g. He has learnt English since 3 years ago.Step 4 SummaryKey words and phrases: humorous, silent, helpful, score, from
