4、eaching Methods: Situational Approach 放视频用, Audio-lingua Method, TPR, Teaching Procedures:I. Warming up Ask a student to go to the front and let him/her try to tell the class what can he/she see in the classroom, name as many objects as he/she could see. Ask another student to complete the answers.

5、II. The presentation of the new material1. Learn the new words (1)A group discussion is designed for the students to talk about whats in the classroom in Chinese, then the headman of the group needs to hand in a paper of the list. (2)According to the list, the teacher will make papers with English n

6、ame of the objects and stick them onto the objects. Eg. Door, picture, board, light, window, desk, chair, etc. (3)Present the meaning of the names by pointing the objects. (4)Ask the students to read the words after the teacher. Read one by one2. Lets do! To make sure the students would learn the ac

7、tions in English by acting them. Eg. Open the door, turn on the light, clean the window, etc. III. Practice the new words(1)Ask and answer: The teacher asks whats in the classroom then point the objects, expecting students would answer together. Then boys ask girls answer, then take turns. (2)Write

8、down the sentence “whats in the classroom”, then stick the papers on the blackboard, give the students 2 minutes to look at the blackboard then take the papers away one by one and let the students to guess which words have been taken away and point what was it.IV. Practice the action. A game is desi

9、gned for the students to work in pairs. Team A will do the action followed by the actions written on the paper, selected by the team members randomly. Team B will guess the action in English. V. Summary Review the lesson by asking students. For the first part to ask students “whats in the classroom”
