1、定语从句定语的作用是_。名词,形容词,副词,介词短语等都可在句中充当定语。如:an apple tree a big bag people there students of class 5此外,定语也可由句子来充当,_叫定语从句,定语从句是定语的其中一种形式。修饰、限定名词或代词修饰、限定名词或代词在复合句中充当定语的句子在复合句中充当定语的句子从句:英语中的从句与普通的简单句一样,都是完整的句子,不同的是所有从句都需要有_来引导。如:The boy who was late is ill.I heard that he graduated from Harvard.What I said

13、语从句五、限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句 限制性定语从句与主句关系密切,去掉从句,主句意义不完整,甚至不合逻辑,故不能删除;形式上不用逗号和主句隔开。The girl who is in red is my sister.非限制性定语从句和主句关系不十分密切,起补充说明作用,如果去掉,主句的意思仍然清楚,可用逗号和主句隔开。I like this book,which is given by Lucy to me as a birthday present.that 不能引导非限制性定语从句,即逗号后不用that.which 引导非限制性定语从句,除了可以指代名词或代词,也可指代前面整个句子

14、。The gold medals,which stand for glory,are the dream of all the players.He has been to Paris more than several times,which I dont believe.as 可引导限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句。引导限制性定语从句时常用于固定结构中,如such.as,the same.as,asas等。Such books as you bought is useless.引导非限制性定语从句时即可指代名词或代词,也可指代前面整个句子,而且它的位置比which更加灵活,可放在句首。As
