(2) Be able to use special questions “how, how long, how far” proficiently. (3) Be able to use verb phrases and prepositional phrases correctly, for example, take the bus,

Emotion aims: Teach the students to obey the traffic rules. 学情分析: The students in Grade Seven dont have much knowledge about English. They dont have a big vocabulary. 4、k about how to get to places. Watch a video: Lets Travel T: What is the video about? Ss: Its about transportation. T: Can you tell me how to get to school? S1: I get to school on foot. S2: I get to school by bus. S3: . T: OK, very good. Today well learn Unit 3 How do you get to school?. Step 3 Read

5、learning objectives T: First, read learning objectives. Who can? S: . T: Now lets look at some pictures of different transportations. Listen to the sound, and tell us what transportation. Listen carefully. S: train, car, boat, plane T: Good! And how do you get to school? S: I get to school by bus. S

6、tep 4 Pair work Practice the conversations. T: Now look at the picture and make conversations with your partners. Give you two minutes. (Students practice in pairs.) Step 5 Match the words with the pictures. Step 6 Listening After practicing, lets look at 1b, listen and write the numbers next to the

7、 correct students in the picture. Before listening, you should look at the pictures and sentences carefully. Step 7 Pair work and practice T: Look at the pictures and tell me verb phrases and prepositional phrases about transportation. Ss: take the bus, take the subway T: You can change verb phrases

8、 into prepositional phrases. For example, “take the bus”, you can also say “by bus” or “on the bus”. (Distinguish between verb phrases and prepositional phrases.) Ask and answer, practice two sentences in the same meaning. Step 8 GameChallenge Your Eyes Review the numbers. Step 9 Listening2a, 2b, 2c
