Ask Ss to use the verbs to fill in each sentence about the turkey making process according to each picture. Ss have a competition to see who is the first one to hand up. 4. All Ss ret

15、ell the turkey making process with “first, next, then, finally ” according to pictures. 5. Present new expressions about making turkey and finish 2d. 6. Sum up Remind Ss to remember to give thanks to the important person in their life and learn to enjoy life. Step 4: Post-reading 1. Get Ss to talk a

16、bout Mid-autumn Day with the teacher as a model. 2. Show the task: What is the special festival in China? (2e) Discussion: (1) When is it? (2) Why do we celebrate it? (3) How do we celebrate it? (4) What food do we eat on that day? Group work: In the group of four, Student A ask questions, Student B

17、 answer questions, Student C takes notes, Student D report it. 3. Group work to finish the task: Get Ss to work in the group of four and form a report. 4. Ask several of them to give an oral report in class. 5. Lead Ss to finish one way to make a mooncake according to each picture on the slide. 6. S

18、um up Discuss: Which food is more delicious, the turkey or the mooncake? Remind Ss that “East or west, home food is the best.” Step 5: Summary Ask Ss to try to sum up by themselves.
