Students are supposes to make, accept and decline invitations and give reasons. According to the daily life and context, this is the basic to

6、pic that people talk about every day. Besides, students need to learn how to make a schedule and arrange their activities. The unit9 contains three parts, for the first part Section A, students will be able to master key words and sentence structures via listening and pair work. For the section part

7、 Section B, students need to read passages and consolidate the basic structures and write a composition to practice. The third part Self check is mainly to review the key points. Inviting others is one of interesting topics for students and which is firmly related to their daily life, therefore, the

Work on 1a Ss use words in 1b to fill in the blanks in 1a, then check the answer in class. Pair work 1c Students work in pair

13、s and practice the sentences structure, and then ask several pairs to give a presentation. Example: A: What s today? B: Its Friday the 28th. A: Whats tomorrow? B:.Its. A: Whats the day after tomorrow? B: Its. Step 3 Listening Pre-listening ( Students try to guess and prediction) T: Look at this pict

14、ure, please predict three questions: 1)Who are talking with? 2)When does Vince play tennis with Andy? 3)Can Vince play tennis with Andy? While-listening Work on 1d and 1e. 1. Students answer the Yes or No question in 1c, check the answer. 2. Students should listen again, match Vinces activities with

Step 4 1f Role-play the conversation Student A is Vince and Student B is Andy, invite Vince to play tennis. T gives students an example first, then students role play

16、 the conversation by using the mind map. Invite some pairs to role play the conversation in the front of the classroom. Step 5 Group work 1. T: Everyone, firstly please fill in the blanks of your own calendar. T: If you have a party, please invite others to your party. Student A, invite Students B,
