Section B 1a-1f Analysis of teaching 本课是本单元 Section B(1a-1f)第一课时的内容,是学习对于前 天、后天等,这样远一些的时间概念的叙述,同时礼貌的发出邀请 并进行拒绝回复,适当的讨论自己已有的计划或安排。 Analysis of students 课程内容并不是太复杂, 学生同时在 Section A 已经有所接受过这 样的学习,能较完整的进行对话练习。本节课要求学生学习如何对 日期进行提问,并能正确回答,采取了对话表演的形式,让学生在 语言环境中运用语言,感受到英语学习的乐

2、趣。 Teaching Aims Knowledge Objects 1. Students will be able to master the following words and phrases: calendar, weekday, the day after tomorrow, the day before yesterday, 2. Students will be able to master the following sentences structures: -Whats today? -Its Friday the 16th. - Whats the day after

3、 tomorrow? -Its Sunday the 18th. -What was the day before yesterday? -It was Wednesday the 14th. 3. Students will be able to talk about the plans on the calendar. Ability Objects 1. Students can use correct sentence structures to talk about date, make, accept and refuse invitations and give reasons.

4、 2. Students can improve their listening abilities by catching some key words. 3. Students can develop their abilities of working in pairs and communication by learning useful structures. Emotional Objects Students will be able to be polite to others when they turn down their invitations. Teaching K

5、ey Points 1. Students can master the key words, phrases and sentence structures well. 2. Students can talk about the plans on the calendar. Teaching Difficult Points Students can use proper sentences to make, accept and refuse invitations and give reasons correctly and fluently. Teaching Procedures:

6、 Step 1 Greeting Greet the class. Step 2 Presentation 1. Show a calendar on the screen. T: Look at this, whats this? Help the students to answer its a calendar. T: Whats the date today? Ss: Its . 7、ar to practice . (设计意图:首先利用日历图片教学生词 calendar,然后用日历 复习原来学过的句型: Whats the date today? What day is it today?进而 导入本节课要学习的句型 Whats today?然后利用真实的日历教授询 问前天、后天等,这样远一些的时间概念的叙述日期句型,这样可 以让学生更加直观的了解。) 2. Have a discussion. Ask the students to discuss how to ask the date , how to ask the day of the week , how to

8、 ask the date and the day of the week. (设计意图:让学生通过合作交流方式,培养他们的合作精神,同 时也帮助学困生学习,使他们共同进步。) 3. Ask the students to read and understand the following words and phrases : today, tomorrow, yesterday, weekday, weekend, the day before yesterday, the day after tomorrow, look after . 4. 9、e . Ask the students to write down the words and phrases on the screen. (设计意图: 通过本活动,一方面对新单词学习的一种检测;另一 方面进行单词记忆大比拼,有助于他们的单词记忆,也有利于提升 学生学习英语的兴趣。) Step 3 Work on 1a and 1b. 1. Finish 1a. Ask the students to write the dates in the calendar, and then check the answers. 2. Finish 1b.Ask the students to r

10、ead the words aloud first ,then have them write the words in 1b below the correct dates on the calendar in 1a .
