In this class, students have more chances to practice their speaking skills. Teaching Aims 1) Knowledge aims: Read and use these words: New Years resolution, make the so

3、ccer team, foreign language Use these sentences: (1)What are you going to do next year?-Im going to. (2)How are you going to do that?-Im going to. (3)Sounds interesting/ like a good plan. 2) Ability aims: Improve listening and speaking skills in class. Use “be going to” to talk about their resolutio

4、ns . 3) Emotional aims: Know that resolutions may be difficult to keep, but we should take more actions and try our best. Moral education: Everyone has their own dreams and plans for the future. People often talk about their resolutions, but most people hardly ever keep them. After this lesson, the

5、students should understand that doing is better than saying and a good resolution is a good start to success. 11、1.Present the conversation in 1b and ask students to read it. 2.Let students talk about their resolutions with their partners . 3.Ask several pairs of students to say out their resolutions. 1.
