Song: Red, yellow, blue and green.(p17) 3. Show a picture of rainbow. Step 2 Presentation 1. Create a situation: Miss L

4、I saw a rainbow this morning and I took a photo of it. Now please see! What color is it? 2. Elicit the color words: Its red/yellow/blue/green. 3. Listen to the recording and have Ss repeat the pronunciation. 4. Hold up crayons and read out the words accordingly. 5. Have Ss hold up their crayons and

5、repeat after teacher. 6. Check one by one/row by row/group by group. 7. Simon says game. Step 3 Practice Activity: Find the cards! (1) Have S1 be blindfolded. (2) Choose a word card and ask the whole class: What color is it? (Ss: Its red/yellow/blue/green). (3) Hide the word card somewhere in the ro

6、om. (4) Have S1 find the card and the class reads the word loudly if S1 is close to the card or softly if S1 is far away until S1 find card finally. (5) Ask S1 a question: What color is it? (S1: Its red/yellow/blue/green). (6) Choose S2 to continue the activity. Step 4 Production 1. Have Ss use diff

7、erent crayons to draw lines on paper according to teachers instructions. 2. Pair work: Draw lines with crayons according to partners instructions. 3. Group work: Color the pictures! (1) Go over the pictures and review the words: apple, sun, banana, umbrella and juice. (2) Have Ss ask: What color is

Its better to have Ss color the words they memorize than to have them memorize the Chinese meanings. 2. The coloring activity is quite nice for Ss to recognize the colors. But some of them still color wrongly. It needs more time to review these colors.
