8、Language Points 1. People often lose things when theyre travelling or when theyre in a hurry. 人们在旅行中或是匆匆忙忙时经常丢失东西。 in a hurry 意为“匆匆忙忙”是固定短语,中间的冠词不可省略,常用作表语或状语。hurry 此处用作名词,意为“匆忙” 。 2. Thats why there are lost and found offices at airports and stations. 那就是机场和车站都有失物招领处的原因。 Thats why 意为“那就是的原因;那就是为什么”
9、,常用于句首,why 后面跟的 是结果。此处 why 引导表语从句。 3. Hundreds of people come here every day. 每天都有几百人到这里来。 hundred 作数词,意为“百” ,放在基数词后用单数;hundreds of 意为“几百;成百上千” , 后接可数名词复数。 设计意图:呈现本单元重要的语言点讲解,帮助学生掌握相关知识。 Activity 3 1.
