3、ocess: 1. Warm up: Sing a song - the “Lala” song. Say greetings. 2. Leading in. Review the words in Unit 11-head, hand, arm, foot, feet, eye -which will appear in lesson5. These words will disappear one by one. Let the students speak out the word and move the part of the body. 3. Presentation. Step1

4、 Turn to page 58. Watch the video about the three “ball games” and do the exercise in part 1. Ask one student to do it on the screen, and the rest do on their books. Read the passages one by one and learn to know the balls and the words: basketball, football, volleyball. Read the three words and let

5、 the students follow to read. Step2 Watch the video together. Listen, listen and repeat. Present two questions: a. Which two letters will we learn today? b. What did you hear from the video about the pronunciation of each? Let the students think for a while and answer the questions. Write the letter

6、s “w” and “y” on the blackboard. Then, write down the phonetic symbols. Lead the reading, and do the corresponding actions. Students follow the teacher to do and say. Read one by one, line by line, row by row. Step3 Activities: Be actors. Do and say. Read or say “xu”. If I read correctly, you follow

7、 to read, if not, you should say “xu”. Lets have a race to see who will be the winner to get the flag. Step4 Listen for sounds. Do the exercise in part 3. One comes up to the front and the others write on the books. Step5 Read with Uncle Booky. Read the words one by one. -finger times- Read together

8、. Follow the video. Look at the pictures on PPT. Learn the four new words together. Then, watch a video to recall memories about the rest 11 words. Activities: Read the words in your groups.
