Discussing(Ex.1 ) Get students to discuss who arrived in America first and introduce more basic information about the Vikings.Step 3. Word matching(Ex.2 ) Ask students to find the meanings for the places and match them with t
5、heir definitions, showing a map as a reference on the screen.Step 4. Fast reading 1. Have students look at the map, the title and skim the passage. 2. Ask students to match the headings with the paragraphs and sequence the events of the discoveries. 3. Check the answers with the class.Step 5. Carefu
