The origin of International Childrens Day 1.The establishment of the International Childrens Day, related to a famous massacre during World War II. - Lidice tragedy related. In June12,1942,the German fascists shot Czech village of Lidice male citizens over the age of 16,more than 140 people and all the babies. The women and 90 children were taken to concentration camps.
